Improve your digestion, absorb more nutrients, and balance your microbiome. Get our comprehensive gut health protocol to feel vibrant and heal from within.
Dr. Burklund has done extensive research into digestive health and the microbiome. She has also developed and formulated a condition-based probiotic called Orthobiome using specific species and clinically studied concentrations. Much of her focus today is one how the microbiome is linked to many conditions including mood health, skin health, and immunity. She believes that optimal digestion and a healthy microbiome is key to overall health and longevity.
Finally, address to the root cause of your digestive issues. Have the most state-of-the-art functional labs taken and interpreted with Dr. Burklund.

Add-on Functional Labs
Comprehensive Stool Profile: is a group of advanced stool tests that assess digestive function, intestinal inflammation, and the intestinal microbiome to assist in the management of gastrointestinal health.
Microbiome Evaluation: examines the balance of pathogens and beneficial microbes that make up the microbiome and reports the potential functions of microbes to understand how the microbiome could impact symptoms and health concerns. It also provides nutrition, lifestyle, and supplement recommendations to improve the balance of the microbiome.
SIBO Breathe Test: a non-invasive test that evaluates bacterial overgrowth of the small intestine.
Leaky Gut Antibodies: measures IgG, IgM, and IgA antibodies against endotoxins, structural and tight junction proteins. Detects disturbance in gut flora and endotoxemia, breakdown in tight junctions (occludin, zonulin), and cytoskeletal proteins. Some or all of these contribute to leaky gut to large molecules that challenge the immune system. Leaky gut to large molecules is the gateway to autoimmunity and neuroautoimmunity via blood-brain barriers damaged by endotoxins and other factors.
H. Pylori: uses qPCR to measure H. pylori and antibiotic-resistance genes. The addition of virulence factor testing helps determine the potential of H. pylori to cause disease.
Glyphosate Exposure: glyphosate is a non-herbicide commonly found on produce and is used in common consumer weed killers such as Roundup and Weedoff. Although glyphosate is widely used in the United States, it can have devastating effects on human health with symptoms ranging from dizziness, headaches, drowsiness, mouth and throat irritation, abdominal cramping, diarrhea, hormone imbalances, coma, cancer, and more. This test identifies the level of toxic glyphosate a person has experienced or is experiencing through a single urine collection.
