What we’ll explore.

  • Eat for Your Skin

Still breaking out while your skin feels drier than ever? Learn how food, blood sugar, and gut health fit into your skin story, and what nourishment to put first.

  • The Beauty Shelf, Edited

A drawer full of products. Skin that still stings, flakes, or breaks out. Learn to read ingredient lists and build a simpler routine around what your skin actually tolerates.

  • What Your Skin Is Saying

Your makeup catches on dry patches. The texture has changed. Your skin looks tired even when you aren’t. Learn how hormones, sleep, and stress can show up on your skin.

  • The Art of the Bath

By evening, your shoulders are tight and you are still thinking about everyone else. Turn a bath into a small ritual of care, with botanicals, gentle warmth, and room to exhale.

  • The Good Skin Plan

You have tried the serum. And the next one. Now you want a plan. Bring nourishment, daily care, and targeted support into a routine you can actually follow.

  • Beauty, Meet Biology

When your skin changes and the rest of you feels off, you want answers. Learn when hormone or nutrient testing may help, and what the results can and cannot tell you.

  • The Exposure Edit

If your face feels irritated by everything, another “clean” label is not enough. Look at fragrance, daily products, and everyday exposures so you can make fewer, better informed choices.

Good questions

Before you choose.

Why take the class if I can shop the protocol?

You can shop an Edit without buying a class. The class gives you the fuller explanation of your changing body, starting with food, sleep, movement, and daily habits. Learn where botanicals, supplements, and functional tests may fit, with recorded lessons and a companion guide to revisit. So you understand the why behind your choices. Supplements and tests are purchased separately.

What is it actually like to take a Rhea class?

Like hanging out with your best friend who also happens to be a doctor. You’re learning, laughing, connecting the dots, and getting excited that you have options. We start with food, sleep, movement, and daily habits, then explore where herbs, supplements, and lab testing may fit. You get the whole conversation, with recorded lessons, your companion guide, and detailed product notes at the end of the class. Come back to it all at your own pace.

How long is the course?

The main recorded lessons in this class run for about 25 minutes. Allow extra time for the companion guide and practices. It’s self paced, with lifetime access, so there’s no schedule to keep up with. Watch a little, put something into practice, and come back when you’re ready.

The Skin Edit

Skin Health & Botanical Care

Your skin has changed, and the old routine isn’t quite doing it anymore. Start with nourishment, the products you use, and the patterns you notice. Then explore botanicals and the questions beneath the surface.

Selected products from The Skin Edit arranged on travertine
01 / Begin with the foundations

Before the bottle.
The bigger picture.

01

Nourishment first.

Begin with regular, satisfying meals, enough energy, varied plants, and hydration. Consider what your day needs before adding more formulas.

02

Rest, rhythm & movement.

Look at sleep, daylight, movement that fits your capacity, and the demands on your day. Recovery deserves a place in the plan.

03

Notice your pattern.

Keep a simple record of what has changed and when. Bring the details of nourishment & skin into the conversation.

04

Choose the next step.

Review your history, current medicines and supplements, and existing results. A test or preparation should answer a specific question.

02 / The considered collection

Inside the Skin Edit.

13 selections from Dr. Michele Burklund’s original guide. Begin with the foundations, then choose around your own needs with your practitioner. These are individual options, not a routine to take together.

01 / The botanical edit

Plants & mushrooms.

Burdock, milk thistle, and the botanical and mushroom preparations in your original guide.

02 / The nourishment edit

From the inside.

The selected collagen, omega, and vitamin C formats, alongside food and everyday nourishment.

03 / The whole person edit

The hormone conversation.

Two preparations to discuss in the context of your cycle, symptoms, and existing care.

04 / The skin care edit

On the surface.

The original topical oils and facial device, each with its own place in a personal routine.

04 / Functional laboratory testing

A closer look.
A clearer question.

Your numbers tell part of the story. Your experience tells another. Begin with a question, then choose testing that can help answer it.

Featured test / Precision Analytical

DUTCH Complete

Wondering what your hormones are doing? DUTCH Complete uses urine collected at home to look at sex hormones, the substances your body makes as it processes them, and your daily cortisol pattern. It also includes selected markers related to melatonin and nutrient pathways. The results can add context to your cycle, sleep, and symptoms when read alongside your health history and any hormones you take.

What it explores
Sex hormone metabolites, daily cortisol patterns, and a melatonin metabolite.
Collection
Timed dried urine samples, collected at home using the kit instructions.

Cycle timing, hormone use, medicines, and supplements belong in the interpretation. DUTCH Complete does not include the separate salivary cortisol awakening response.

The Skin Edit LabsYour skin has questions. Let’s look beneath the surface.

When your skin keeps asking for attention, another serum may not be the whole conversation. We begin with nourishment, sleep, and your skin care routine. This edit offers two specific avenues: vitamin C status and a specialized test used in persistent hives. They answer different questions, so choose the one that fits your history.

2 selected tests

Find my tests
Vitamin C

Vitamin C helps your body make collagen and repair tissue. This test checks your vitamin C level, adding context when your food intake or symptoms raise a question about getting enough. Recent supplements and how the sample is handled can affect the result, so follow the collection instructions.

Yes, I want to order my test
Histamine Release (Chronic Urticaria)

Histamine is one of the chemicals involved in itching and hives. This specialized blood test looks at histamine release as part of investigating hives that keep coming back. It does not tell you which foods you tolerate or diagnose general “histamine intolerance.”

Yes, I want to order my test

Begin with nourishment, sleep, movement, and your health history. Choose testing with a clear purpose. Current pricing, collection instructions, and ordering eligibility are shown on Fullscript. Labs are purchased separately from the teachings.

Testing questions from this teaching

Nourishment & skin

A question to bring to your clinician
The conversation
What are you noticing, and what has changed? Start with the pattern discussed in the teaching.
Keep in mind
Existing results, symptoms, medicines, and the timing of collection all belong in the interpretation.

Hormones & changing skin

A question to bring to your clinician
The conversation
Would testing help distinguish between plausible contributors, or would the next step be the same without it?
Keep in mind
Existing results, symptoms, medicines, and the timing of collection all belong in the interpretation.

Ingredients & exposures

A question to bring to your clinician
The conversation
Which result would change your plan? Ask what a test can establish, what it cannot, and how it will be followed up.
Keep in mind
Existing results, symptoms, medicines, and the timing of collection all belong in the interpretation.

You do not need every test. Results belong alongside your history and clinical assessment; there is no single “optimal” number that fits every woman.

05 / Good questions

A little more
understanding.

Do I need everything in this edit?

No. The foundations come first. Product selections are individual options, not a stack to take together. Choose around your needs, history, and existing care.

Can I start with the teaching?

Absolutely. Watch the lessons, notice your own patterns, and return to the protocol when you have a clearer sense of the questions you want to explore.

Are labs and products included?

Labs and products are purchased separately through the linked Rhea stores. Availability, current labels, and pricing are confirmed there.

How do I make this personal?

Bring your symptoms, medicines, supplements, and existing lab results to your clinician. Together, decide what to try, how to use it, what to monitor, and when to reassess.

Whole body wisdom. One next step.
